fighing sports

sport are getting more and more violent year after year, and sport are not the only thing that is getting more violent movies and games are getting more and more violent all the time.
Masculinity is one of the major reasons for sports getting more violet first there was baseball, basketball, and football. Then football started getting more physical and the players are getting bigger, basketball and baseball players are getting bigger also. Players started using steroids and got bigger and bigger.
When boxing started that was a big deal and was a very masculinity thing to do and the boxers just kept getting bigger and bigger and now the biggest sport in the world is not boxing, or football, or golf, or soccer it is MMA fighting and if it is not professional its just MMA fights in the gyms or just training. Most people ask them selfs why would anyone want to get punched In the face repeatedly but one of the main reasons is because of masculinity, the fighters want to feel manly and tough and MMA is the perfect thing for people to do. MMA teaches people about self-defense and many people think that it is fun.
I think that the next major sport in the world will become more violent and more bloody with less rules.

values

The five values I think can be used in your own life are Respect, always respect your elders and peers. Integrity always do the right thing lawfully and morally even if your friends don't want you to and if no one is looking. Personal Courage don't be afraid to do what is right or help people, don't be afraid to stand out. Selfless Service do what is right for your team or place of employment even if it means you getting in trouble with coworkers. Duty always finish your job and do it well even if it takes a little bit longer, don't take short cuts because they might save you time that day but they might come back to haunt you tomorrow.
I think that more people should live by values and not take short cuts because the shortest way isn't always better. I think that if more people do the right thing that there would be less crime and more helping.

game blog

When we played are game in sociology I learned that even though that we all learned how to play the same game each group learned to play it differently and that there was different rules. I think that works in society as well, like with different community's and family's all the kids go to the same school and learn the same things but what the parents view as exemptible might be different.
